What to Expect at Your First Appointment
At Alliance Hearing Center, your experience matters to us. We will always treat you like a member of our own family and will do everything we can to make you as comfortable as possible. Whether you visit us in Concord or Peterborough, you will always be greeted by a smiling face. Before your appointment begins, we will first have you fill out a new patient intake form and an overview of your medical history.
To begin your initial appointment, we will first have a conversation to get to know you better. We will go over the paperwork you filled out and ask you some questions about your hearing and what your goals are.
After our discussion we will examine the inside of your ears. We want to ensure your ears are clear from any impacted earwax before we continue.
Then we will begin the hearing test. During the hearing test you will put on a pair of specialized headphones and sit inside our sound booth. We will play a variety of sounds that range in frequency and volume.
After we’ve examined your hearing, we will go over the results of your audiogram and discuss what kind of options could help you.
Your first appointment will typically take between 30 to 60 minutes.

Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collected data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
